भगवंत मान का राजनीतिक सफर -मान शुरू से ही आम आदमी पार्टी का हिस्सा नहीं रहे हैं, बल्कि उन्होंने अपनी राजनीतिक पारी की शुरुआत मनप्रीत सिंह बादल की पार्टी “पंजाब पीपल्स पार्टी” से की थी। वह 2012 में लहरा विधानसभा सीट से चुनाव लड़े थे, लेकिन हार गए। इसके बाद मनप्रीत बादल ने कांग्रेस का दामन थाम लिया एवं भगवंत मान “आम आदमी पार्टी” में आ गए। यहां आने के बाद माने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। 2014 में भगवंत मान “आम आदमी पार्टी” से जुड़े और संगरूर लोक सभा सीट से आम आदमी पार्टी के टिकट पर चुनावी मैदान में उतरे और 02 लाख से ज्यादा वोटों से जीते।
2017 के पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव में भगवंत मान पंजाब के तत्कालीन उपमुख्यमंत्री और “शिरोमणि अकाली दल” नेता सुखबीर सिंह बादल के खिलाफ जलालाबाद विधानसभा सीट से चुनाव लड़े। हालांकि उन्हें सुखबीर सिंह के खिलाफ हार का सामना करना पड़ा। इसके बाद 2019 में संगरूर सीट से लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ा और एक लाख से ज्यादा वोटों से जीते.
2022 का विधानसभा चुनाव भगवंत मान ने धूरी विधानसभा से जीती, भगवंत मान को 82592 और कांग्रेस के दलवीर सिंह गोल्डी को 24386 वोट मिले .
